Supported by the Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi and overseen by the Karnataka State Social Welfare Board, Bengaluru, it strives to strengthen family bonds and reduce domestic disputes.
Launched in 1999 by the Bengaluru City Police, VSV offers immediate support to women facing distress and addresses safety concerns, providing guidance and assistance to those in need.
This is a helpline for children, established in 1997 by the Bengaluru City Police. The objective of the Makkala Sahayavani is to respond to the immediate need of any child in crisis.
Along with Counselling, Parihar empowers Women through 3 Skill Development Centres which provides 6 months certified training in tailoring and life skills. This training focuses on enabling underprivileged women and Police families to have a sustainable livelihood.
All services are provided free of cost.
